NECT events

Northeast Community Transformation, the diaconal agency of Classes Hudson and Hackensack, invites interested church members and leaders to attend their spring events:

1) An immigration forum, to be held from 9:30-noon on Saturday, May 19, at the Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prospect Park.  Leading immigration attorney and NECT partner David Nachman of Nachman, Phulwani, Zimovcak (NPZ) Law Group, P.C. will be on hand to offer assistance with specific questions or immigration/naturalization cases.

2) NECT’s annual picnic, to be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church in North Haledon from 1-4 pm on June 9.  This picnic provides an opportunity to hear about the work the NECT and its partners are doing in sharing God’s transforming mercy, justice and peace with their communities.  Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children under 13, and free for kids under 5 and can be purchased here.

For more information on either event, please contact NECT.
