Northeast Community Transformation (NECT), the diaconal ministry of Classis Hudson, and partner Mercy Vision will co-sponsor a conference on “The Good Deeds of The Gospel” featuring Dr. Ron Sider, noted author, speaker and founder of Evangelicals for Social Action.

The event will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church (422 Cedar Hill Ave, Wyckoff).

Dr. Sider will lead two plenary sessions articulating the application of the Gospel to ministries of community development and justice.  There will be several workshops including “Working with Our Communities for the Common Good” led by NECT Director Al Santino.

Admission is $15 and is available on-line.

Mercy Vision is a coalition of Korean-American churches in northern New Jersey with a mission that aligns with NECT, working together to bring resources for community development ministry.
