Christian Reformed Home Missions leadership workshop
The Regional Team of Christian Reformed Home Missions is hosting a workshop on November 14-15, 2012, at New Song Community Church in New York City. This informative and mutually beneficial workshop will help us intentionally learn from one another how to develop leaders locally, ensuring that current and future leaders of the church are identified, empowered, and nurtured. We look forward to learning from one another about how to build and support strong leaders . . . all for the sake of God’s redemptive mission in our hurting world. Please join us! For the Wednesday evening session, we will be honored to hear New England Chapel Church Planter and Pastor, Chris Mitchell, give a plenary talk about the importance of leadership development. On Thursday, we will hear from respected colleagues who will present case studies about this subject each in their own unique context. We will also have a panel of young pastors share how internships in churches have helped them to grow and develop in their passion for the lost. Valuable resources will be shared from both an academic and an experiential perspective. The cost for this event is $35. For more information or to learn how to register, see the flyer.
