Creation and science forum at Ridgewood CRC

Interim Pastor Harvey Stob of Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church will present four Sunday 7:30 p.m. talks on “Adam and Eve and All That,” September 25 through October 16.  Richard Ostling, former religion writer with “Time” magazine and The Associated Press, will moderate the discussions. The series will depict new challenges arising in Christian Reformed and evangelical circles concerning the historic Adam and Eve, human origins, and interpretation of the Book of Genesis.  For more information, please contact Ridgewood CRC.

Agenda for fall meeting of Classis Hudson

The fall meeting of Classis Hudson will take place on Thursday, September 22 at Midland Park CRC.  Rev. Norm Brown will chair the meeting.  The agenda for the meeting can be found here.One of the highlights of the agenda will be a presentation by Rev. Julius Medenblik, the new president of Calvin Theological Seminary.Classis will also examine Mr. Jeremy Meserole, a member of Faith Community CRC, for licensure to exhort.  His sermon can be found here.Councils of organized churches should have received credentials already; however, if a credentials form is needed, it can be found on the documents and policies page.  Emerging churches should contact their council of care for credentials information.
