On Saturday, September 27, Northeast Community Transformation and New Hope Community Ministries are hosting a celebration luncheon, which we would love for you to attend. The information is on the flyer: Celebration Luncheon Flyer
Classis Hudson celebrates God's gracious provision to New Life Community CRC of Staten Island, NY which was able to install its first elders and deacons in a joyous worship service on July 6, 2014. Rev. Hong Kim, pastor of the church, presided over the installation which was attended by a number of guests from various churches in our classis and beyond. It is our prayer as a classis that God would richly bless the ministry of New Life Church and the leadership of Rev. Kim and the officebearers, to the glory and honor of Jesus Christ in the Staten Island community.
At a special meeting held on July 1 at Cedar Hill CRC, Classis Hudson agreed to the request of Crossroads Community CRC of Flanders, NJ to begin the process of disbanding. This process will take several months and more details will be worked out at the fall classis meeting. The churches of Classis Hudson are encouraged to remember Crossroads' congregation and pastor in prayer during this time of transition. Those willing to consider a financial gift to help sustain the congregation during the coming months as well are also encouraged to contact Crossroads Church.
