Classis Hudson celebrates with our brothers and sisters at Namu Church, which recently affiliated with the CRC. Rev. Jason Joo Sung Chung will formally be installed as the pastor of Namu Church in a special worship service on Sunday, December 14, at 5pm. May the Lord continue to bless this congregation and its ministry.
"Fanning the Flame: Praying Together for God's Mission" is the theme for a regional prayer summit to be held on November 7-8 at Midland Park CRC. World Renew is sponsoring a workshop from 8am-3pm on Saturday, October 18 to share about disasters in North America, the ministry of World Renew DRS, the various volunteer opportunities, what to expect as a volunteer, how churches can be involved, and more. Midland Park CRC will be hosting a workshop on October 4 from 9am-3pm in conjunction with the Salaam Project through Christian Reformed World Missions. Leading the seminar will be Dave and Sharon De Vries, who have lived and worked among Muslims for about 20 years. The seminar will provide understanding of key Muslim beliefs and practice, and also give insights on how to build bridges with Muslims and share our faith with them in a meaningful way.
